Our Story
We met on a rainy October evening in 2019 at a mutual friend's dinner party in Notting Hill. James was late, Elena was just about to leave — but a shared laugh over spilled wine turned a chance encounter into a lifelong promise.
What started as a friendship quickly grew into something neither of us expected. Long walks along the Thames, spontaneous weekend trips to the Cotswolds, and a shared love for slow mornings brought us to this beautiful moment.
The Night We Met
A dinner in Notting Hill, a bottle of Cannonau, and the start of everything.
Our First Trip to Italy
Two weeks in Tuscany visiting Elena's family. James fell in love — with the region and the cuisine.
The Proposal
Under the cypress trees at sunset in Val d'Orcia. She said yes before he could even finish asking.

Can I bring a plus one?
We have a limited guest list, so please refer to your invitation for the names included.
Is there parking at the venue?
Yes, Villa La Foce has a private car park for guests. We will also arrange shuttle buses from Montepulciano.
What about dietary restrictions?
Absolutely! Please let us know via the RSVP form about any allergies or dietary requirements.
Will there be transport?
Yes. A shuttle bus will run between Montepulciano and the villa, departing at 2:30 PM.
Can I take photos?
We kindly ask for an unplugged ceremony. After that, take as many photos as you'd like!
What if it rains?
Villa La Foce has a beautiful covered loggia as a backup plan.
